I developed an interest in art at a very early age when my mother enrolled me in Art classes. She wanted her children to pursue a hobby beyond school work stating that life would be more fulfilling and rewarding if I could pursue art or music. I pursued my interest in art into adulthood.
I stumbled into art classes run by Stefan Baumann, (in Saratoga, Ca) in 2002 and since then my life revolved around making sure that I did not miss my studio time with Stefan. He is now my coach and my mentor. I believe that one should never stop learning and this lead me to discover Brigitte Curt and take on Plein air painting on a consistent basis.
My style has greatly evolved under her guidance and I discovered how exciting it is to paint on a small canvas with large juicy brush stokes and thick paint!
As I continue on this journey to achieve greater heights, I will be eternally grateful to Stefan Baumann and Brigitte Curt for giving me the courage to do so.

“I as an artist want to make time stand still for just a moment by presenting art that entertains, enlightens and captures the imagination. What I seek to do is explore different emotions through color, portraiture and landscape”.
